Hempseed oil is the most nutritious oil on Earth. All of our products are made with virgin organic hempseed oil, drawn by cold pressing the highest-grade hempseeds for the purest quality. What makes this remarkable oil exceptionally nutritious is its composition of essential fatty acids (EFAs), protein and other key vitamins and minerals.
What does this mean on a “good-for-my-skin” level? Well, more than 75% of the EFAs in hempseed oil are poly-unsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), known for their excellent emollient, lubricating and healing properties. Hempseed oil contains Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9 fatty acids, as well as gamma linolenic acid (GLA) that combines to provide anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, antioxidant and moisture-balancing properties. In what is considered to be the perfect ratio of 3:1. This unique EFA profile is the perfect balance for absorption through the skin and will compensate for the lower ceramide levels that deplete naturally with aging, thereby reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
We produce our virgin organic hempseed oil from plants grown in China and harvested on family farms that utilize the same traditional techniques (free of pesticides and herbicides) that have been used for centuries.
